Effective date: October 19, 2026 · Applies to the TradesMath iOS app (v1.0+) · Published by jiaxing huang
TradesMath is a code-edition calculator toolbox for trade professionals (electricians, plumbers, and related trades). This policy describes what information the app handles and how.
Deleting the app erases all of the above.
TradesMath performs no network requests. All calculators, reference parameters, and unit conversions run entirely on-device. There is no sign-in, no sync, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. Code-edition parameter updates, when published, are delivered through the App Store app-update channel — never through in-app connections.
Electrical parameters shipped inside the app are original compilations prepared for this app, versioned by code edition, stored on your device. They reference code table and section numbers for orientation only. No copyrighted standard text is reproduced; all referenced codes and standards remain the property of their respective publishing organizations (including the National Fire Protection Association).
TradesMath does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information at all.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date. If a future version introduces any network capability (for example, a planned in-app purchase in a later release, which uses Apple's own StoreKit infrastructure), this policy will be updated before release and the app's privacy labels will be revised accordingly.
TradesMath provides general calculation tools only. It does not replace the judgment of a licensed trade professional, and no output of the app constitutes engineering, installation, or code-compliance advice. Results are derived from on-device reference parameters and physics formulas, are approximations, and may not reflect your jurisdiction's adopted code edition or local amendments — always verify against the current official code text and your authority having jurisdiction (AHJ). Every result screen in the app carries this disclaimer.
If you have questions about this policy, contact the developer through Apple's App Store support channel for this app.
